Welcome to Ngie. Your privacy is critically important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application and AI gaming assistant services.
1. Account Types and Data Retention
We offer two ways to experience Ngie:
Anonymous Users: You may use the app without creating an account. However, please be advised that if an anonymous account remains inactive for thirty (30) consecutive days, all local data, preferences, and progress will be permanently deleted. To ensure your data is saved permanently, you must register an account.
Registered Users: Users can create an account via email/password or third-party social media providers. Registered accounts are persistent and do not expire due to inactivity.
2. Information We Collect
We only collect data that is necessary to provide you with an optimized gaming experience.
Registration Data: If you sign up via social media, we may collect your email address, username, and profile picture. The specific data being shared is always disclosed on the third-party login consent screen before you authorize the connection.
Gaming Profile: To provide personalized recommendations, we collect information regarding your preferred game genres, gaming platforms (e.g., PC, Console, Mobile), and PC hardware components.
AI Interactions: We store the logs of your chats with the AI assistant to maintain conversation continuity and improve recommendation accuracy.
3. Artificial Intelligence and Data Privacy
Ngie utilizes advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) to provide daily game suggestions and interactive chat.
Privacy Guard: The AI model cannot access your personal identity information (such as your real name, email, or social media profile).
Contextual Knowledge: The AI is only provided with your gaming-specific data (genres, platforms, and hardware specs) to ensure that the advice and chat remain relevant to your gaming setup.
4. Payments and Subscriptions
Ngie offers subscription plans for premium features.
Third-Party Processing: All transactions are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store (via RevenueCat).
No Payment Storage: Ngie does not store, see, or have access to your credit card numbers or payment credentials.
Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions are billed on a monthly or yearly basis and will automatically renew unless cancelled through your device's store settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
5. Data Sharing and Third Parties
No Third-Party Sharing: We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to outside parties.
Security: We implement a variety of security measures (via Supabase infrastructure) to maintain the safety of your personal information.
6. User Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you.
- Request the deletion of your account and all associated data.
- Opt-out of data collection by discontinuing use of the app or deleting your account.
